I've been involved in childcare for the majority of my life and, as the daughter of a former NICU nurse, have always been interested in pregnancy, birth, babies and motherhood. I became a doula to support mothers, fathers and families in feeling confident and empowered about their birthing and parenting experiences. So far, serving expectant and new families is a natural fit for both my interests and passions. I absolutely LOVE supporting people before, during and after one of the most important days of their lives...when they become parents!
I starting attending births in July of 2012 and I became certified as a birth doula through DONA International in January of 2014. I'm currently certifying as a Certified Lactation Educator through CAPPA.
